Extended Worship

On the 3rd Saturday of the month there is an extended worship service in the evening with a very open format for people to share testimony, significant words from the Bible and have the opportunity to meet with God and hear from Him.

This is Anni's favourite song: "O Let the Son of God enfold you with His Spirit and His Love" by John Wimber.

One of the reasons it is special to me is that although I didn't think I knew the words very well, when we visited our friend Hans-Juergen in Germany when he was in hospital suffering from terminal liver cancer, he was very anxious about past guilt and hurts and unhappy times,and the whole song came back to me. It meant a great deal to him, then, and he shed tears of relief as we sang it, and he realised that the Lord had forgiven him.

I just love the words, too, and the thoughtful and quite slow tune and have a job not to cry, myself, as I sing it!
