• We see church as being a body/ a team, with each part having a distinct and vital part to play in the flourishing of the whole. So everyone is important and God can and does speak through any of us - it's up to him!
• We pay Steve Smith (part-time) to help facilitate this flourishing. We also have a part-time administrator, Uschi Rigby.
• We try to have a “flat” (not hierarchical) non-intimidating feel as a church, to remind us that God is in charge and to encourage people to contribute what God has given them.
• We have a longstanding leadership team which meets monthly. Most decisions are fairly straightforward and non-controversial. Significant new initiatives, or any controversial suggestions, would always be presented initially for feedback to the church. We do have a history of consensus; basically our desire is to be led by God and (we trust!) he does actually do that.
